Statuary and Figurines
Enfold statuary and figurines with bubble cover, then tightly enfold with clean paper. If bubble cover is not obtainable, make use of clean paper to enfold the item till it is sufficiently cushioned.
Bottles
Bottles are tied close and enfolded in clean newsprint. For additional security, put bottles in a waterproof bag prior to enfolding and putting in a box.
Mirrors and Glass
Enfold pictures or mirrors in a great cushion of clean paper. Put them in a firmed packing or telescoping box. Cautiously tape and close the box. All the time place glass, pictures and mirrors on their rim. Do not put them down horizontally.
Computers
If achievable, place computers in their original boxes. Only if appropriate packing materials are employed computers may be securely packed in solid boxes.
• Begin with stuffing the bottom of the box with a large amount of packing material.
• Enfold computer elements sufficiently with paper and put them in a box.
• Firmly pack stuffing around and on top of the component to deter damage.
• Tightly seal the box.
• Mark the box as “Fragile – Top Load.”

Packing Materials and Crates
Your transporting agent has all the materials you require to appropriately pack your possessions. Unprinted newsprint, acid-free tissue, tufted paper stuffing, bubble cover and packing tape.
Things like antique furniture, marble and glass top tables, trophies and chandeliers are greatest transported in specially made crates. Your transporting agent may crate these kinds of things for you.
